Tips & Techniques

2. Your future self will thank you for thoroughly reading the directions from start to finish - before starting. I find it's much easier to digest the steps once I've had a quick glimpse into the bird's eye view of the project. It doesn't need to be laborous, just give it a quick 5 minute gloss-over. I love the reverse video because it helps you see the finished product from a new lens.
3. Dedicated scissors for each purpose.
4. If you were wondering, the term "Universal" on many needle packs refers to the fabric, as in the needle can be used with a wide range of fabric.
5. Our friends at Brother confirmed that you can use Singer needles on Brother machines, as long as it's the correct size.
